Kinter's margin notes: "Stretcher bearers of the 1st Sikh Light Inft. who were the guard for Brigade H.Q. at this hypoongyi [hypongyi] kyaung. Experimental battalion using low caste Sikhs – made a very good showing [at] Pegu – little fighting to be done here – mostly patrol work."
