A South African nurse accompanied Fred Hoeing, the Colonel, and Arthur Howe, Jr. to these famous Troglodyte dwellings, which were 40 miles south of Tripoli. The caption on the verso notes the term "WOG", which stands for "Western Oriental Gentleman."
