Two of the King's Royal Rifles (KRR) men in the photograph were Americans (Bostonians) George Thompson (though it's unclear which one he is), and Bob Fowler (first on Arthur Howe, Jr's right.) Fowler roomed with Cord Meyer, Howe's classmate at Yale, at St. Paul's School.
