Description:
These windowless adobe mud buildings were used for human habitation and for storing farm produce. However, when the heavy rains come, they often collapse. I’ve heard that building a very hot fire inside turns the clay to ceramic and makes them last better.
Location: Between Hama and Homs, Syria.
