Julien H. Bryan was an ambulance driver with the American Field Service in 1917 and author of Ambulance 464 (The Macmillan Company: New York, 1918). The Julien H. Bryan Collection includes loose photographs, negatives, and postcards, captioned prints used in his book, a photograph album, and a framed print from his time with AFS during World War I, and a slide of Julien and his son, Sam, in 1966.
Restrictions: This collection is unprocessed but open for research. Permission to access the collection is required by the Archives of the American Field Service and AFS Intercultural Programs in advance.
