In July 1916 the American Ambulance Field Service split from the American Ambulance Hospital and established separate headquarters at 21 rue Raynouard in Paris, France. The Paris headquarters closed in April 1919.

A. Piatt Andrew is seated behind Stephen Galatti on the far left. Edgar Scott is pictured wearing leather puttees in the center.
