The verso of both copies of this photograph has a description in A. Piatt Andrew's handwriting, and both have been digitized and made available. Colonel Rollet, featured in the photograph, occupied the Caverne d'Ali-Baba, which had an electric light in the subterranean chamber. They all had a toast here.
