Page 9 (Digital ID: IMG_0540) of William B. Kinter's scrapbook contains the following items (listed by Digital ID): SB_0074, SB_0075, SB_0076, SB_0077, SB_0078, SB_0079, SB_0080, SB_0081, and SB_0082.   William B. Kinter margin notes: "Starred pictures taken by Indian photographer, Moolchand, before the war when he was a professional photographer in the oil field area of Burma.  He lent me the negatives in July 1945 when I was at Kalaw where he had fled during the war.  I printed them on Jap paper with the aid of Belgian developer, Jap hypo, & a printing frame he kindly lent me.  I worked at the AFS H.Q., Kalaw where we had running water – a kerosene lantern served for printing & safe light.  I also developed & printed all my own 35mm stuff & Jap negatives during this period.  Moolchand was always ready to help & never asked for anything in return – the finest Indian I met in this respect.  I was able to give him a lot of R.A.F. [aerial] map paper when we left in Oct. 1945.  He was also a very able photographer as his pictures testify.
