This image (Digital ID: SB_0124) is found on page 14 (Digital ID: IMG_0547) of William B. Kinter's scrapbook. William B. Kinter's margin notes: "Myself on Buddha – taken by Capt. Evans, M.O. [Medical Officer] of 4th Field Artilery [Artillery] which was now with this Brigade from 19th Div. The 4th Field had 25 pounders & were always dug in beside the A.D.S. [Advanced Dressing Station] in the center of the box along with some 5.5’s [British artillery, BL 5.5-inch medium gun]. This made sleeping hard!" William B. Kinter's notes on verso of image: "Taken by Capt. Evans (4th Field) 6 mi. West of Heho S.S.S. [Southern Shan States] July 1945. Present address: 23rd Ind. Field Amb. 17th Ind. Div. S.E.A.C. [Southeast Asia Command]"
