Kinter notes on verso of image: "Left to Right  Bill Kinter, Bill Loyd [Lloyd], Andy Henderson, Charlie Burk, Don Hannan  Taken at the beach at Tel Aviv"   William B. Kinter's margin notes: "Myself,  [Bill Lloyd], Andy Henderson, Charlie Burke [sic Burk], & Don Hanna [Hannan].  On the beach at Tel Avive [Aviv]."   Marion Kinter's cataloging notes: "I believe this photo was taken in early October 1945 based on WBK [William B. Kinter's] scrapbook title page reference to dates, other scrapbook notes, and the last entry in his pay book."
